Earlier this year we were thrilled to get our hands on our first offering from Steve Kistler’s latest Pinot Noir project Occidental Wines from the West Sonoma Coast. Well today we have a couple of Occidental’s Single Vineyard offerings, the Bodega Ridge Vineyard and the Occidental Ridge Vineyard. These two offerings from Occidental are right up at the top of the list of Pinot Noir coming out of the West Coast. We only have 24 bottles of each, so not much to go around, grab them while you can.
Today, we’re excited to introduce two extraordinary Single Vineyard releases:
Both wines capture the dramatic conditions of the Sonoma Coast — windswept ridgelines, marine fog, and rocky soils that naturally limit yields while intensifying flavor and structure.
These are Pinot Noirs defined by precision and energy: layered red fruit, coastal minerality, vibrant acidity, and remarkable length.
Even more impressive? Both wines earned outstanding 98-point scores, placing them firmly among the elite Pinot Noirs produced anywhere on the West Coast today.
