If I had to pick a quintessentially American winery — one that captures partnership, hard work, risk-taking, and pioneer spirit — Ridge Vineyards would be at the top of my list.
Best known first for its exceptional Cabernet from the Monte Bello Estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Ridge also helped champion America’s grape: Zinfandel. That story began in 1966 with the first release of Ridge Geyserville, a wine that remains one of California’s great heritage bottlings.
As the Ridge portfolio has grown, the winery has never lost its “true north”: low-intervention winemaking, respect for site, and a holistic approach that lets each vineyard speak clearly. The results speak for themselves.
While we may not have the full Ridge lineup on the shelf at any one time, we always keep Ridge well represented — from the incredible value of the 2022 Three Valleys Zinfandel under $25, to the iconic Lytton Springs and Geyserville bottlings, to the legendary wines of Monte Bello.
Right now, that includes Ridge’s 95-point 2023 Estate Cabernet and a few more cases of the 100-point 2023 Estate Chardonnay.
Grab a bottle of Ridge and taste a true American classic.
