"If something has been growing for over 100 years it not only deserves the respect of us humans, but it probably makes some darn good wine too."-Morgan Twain Peterson
Continuing our All-American celebration, we're proud to feature an incredible lineup of Bedrock Wine Company's 2024 Heritage Vineyard bottlings.
Founded in 2007 by Morgan Twain-Peterson, Bedrock began in the humblest of settings—a converted chicken coop in a friend's backyard. From those modest beginnings, Morgan built one of California's most respected wineries, always guided by a simple philosophy: make wines with unmistakable personality from thoughtfully farmed, historic vineyards.
Today, Bedrock remains a mission-driven winery dedicated to preserving and rehabilitating California's oldest vineyards. Planted by the state's viticultural pioneers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these vines are living pieces of American history. They've survived two World Wars, Prohibition, economic upheaval, and the ever-changing wine market. They deserve to be preserved—not just for their history, but because they continue to produce extraordinary wines.
There's something uniquely American about honoring the work of those pioneers while carrying their legacy forward. And if a vineyard has been thriving for well over a century, chances are it's capable of making some pretty spectacular wine.
We're excited to have an outstanding selection of the 2024 Heritage Vineyard releases in stock:
