Few things make us happier at The Wine and Cheese Place than when one of our favorite producers lowers their prices—and we’ve got some seriously good news from Lewis Cellars.

After a recent distributor change, we loaded back up on two Lewis favorites, and both are hitting the shelf at substantially better prices.

The 2023 Lewis Cellars Napa Valley Chardonnay is now $62.99, a $5 drop from its previous shelf price. Great news on its own.

But wait until you see what happened to the Cabernet.

The newly released 2022 Lewis Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is just $77.99.

For comparison, the 2021 vintage was $122.99 on our shelves.

That’s a $45 price drop from one vintage to the next.

We’ve gotta say it: Well done, Lewis.

At a time when Napa Cabernet pricing seems to know only one direction, it’s refreshing to see a top producer read the room and bring its wines—especially its Napa Valley Cabernet—back to a price that makes a lot more sense.
