Zuccardi, a renowned winery in Argentina, is celebrated for its innovative approach and commitment to expressing the unique terroirs of the Uco Valley. The Zuccardi Poligonos Valle de Uco Malbec is crafted from 100% Malbec grapes, showcasing the distinct characteristics of this varietal. The wine hails from the Uco Valley, a prestigious wine region known for its high-altitude vineyards and diverse microclimates. The winemaking process involves careful fermentation and aging in concrete vats, which helps preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir. This Malbec offers a vibrant flavor profile with notes of dark berries, plum, and a hint of floral undertones, supported by a balanced acidity and smooth tannins. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.

The first PolĂgonos was from San Pablo (2013) but didn't carry the name of the appellation, as it didn't exist. The 2019 PolĂgonos San Pablo Malbec fermented and matured exclusively in concrete. 2019 was a cool year, similar to 2018, and it was cooler in some places than in others. In San Pablo, the coldest of the regions, the grapes are picked very late. The area is austere and feels a bit close. For them, it's one of the most particular places for Malbec, with descriptors that are different: citrus and herbal within the varietal, even white flowers combined with the textbook violets. The wine is fresh with red fruit to go with those fresh herbal aromas. It's precise, chiseled and delineated.
