Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Barrel Finish Select Bourbon
-
Style — Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey
-
Series — Woodford Reserve Personal Selection
-
Maturation — Aged in charred oak, then transferred to a second oak barrel that’s deeply toasted and lightly charred
-
Proof — 90.4 (45.2% ABV)
The second barrel is what gives Double Oaked its signature richness. Deeply toasted oak brings out dark caramel and vanilla, with notes of toasted hazelnut, baking spice, and apple. The finish is creamy, with honeyed apple and sweet oak.
