The ORIGINAL tequila from now famed NOM 1414, Viva Mexico, only releases four single barrels a year, and TWCP is lucky enough to be getting one of them!!! The partnership between master distiller Sergio Cruz and owner Sergio Vivanco is becoming the stuff of legend, and it all started here with the now "house" brand of NOM 1414, Viva Mexico!
Aged for 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels with an 87 proof, the light color (for an anejo) allows some of the world's greatest agave to be masterfully blended into beautiful aromas of caramel, vanilla, sweet butter, citrus, and classic NOM 1414 light agave spice. One would be hard pressed to find even a non-tequila drinker who doesn't love the aroma, it is that beautiful.
