Umiki is world’s first ocean fused whisky brand finished in Japanese pine barrels. This unique production technique also gave the name to UMIKI – Ocean tree whisky. “UMI” means “OCEAN and “KI” means “TREE” in Japanese.
Nose
Notes of lager beer, wood shavings, and black tea, with underlying hints of papaya and fresh pine resin.
Palate
Initially oak-driven and spirit-forward, followed by flavors of pine needles, fresh citrus, and grated coconut.
Finish
Dry and peppery, with lingering notes of kiwi, lime zest, black tea, and soft pine.
