Torabhaig Allt Gleann is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by Torabhaig Distillery, located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. As a relatively new distillery, Torabhaig has quickly gained recognition for its traditional approach to whisky-making, utilizing copper pot stills and local ingredients. This expression, Allt Gleann, is crafted from a mash bill of 100% malted barley and is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks, imparting a rich complexity to the spirit. Bottled at an ABV of 46%, it offers a robust flavor profile with notes of peat smoke, maritime influences, and a subtle sweetness, characteristic of the Skye region. The whisky is non-chill filtered, preserving its natural character and depth.
