Blackberry compote - with distinctive spice aromas of clove, peppercorn and star anise - open this Malbec, a variety rarely seen on its own Down Under. It’s underpinned by something more floral and also more mineral and ferrous. Full figured, there’s lovely freshness, slinky, succulent dark-berry fruit and well-placed tannins: one of the strongest wines from this producer to date.
