Starlight's Mizunara Reserve combines mature, estate-distilled bourbon with one of the whiskey world's most prized finishing woods. This 8-year-old Batch 0004 is bottled at 112 proof and finished in rare Japanese Mizunara oak, known for contributing distinctive notes of sandalwood, toasted coconut, vanilla and incense-like spice. Those exotic oak characteristics layer beautifully over Starlight's mature bourbon flavors of caramel, baking spice and oak, creating a complex, aromatic whiskey with a long, warming finish. The Mizunara Reserve has become one of Starlight's most decorated releases, earning 99 points and Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
