  • 107 proof (53.5% ABV) and non-chill filtered.
  • A limited annual release built from mature Kentucky- and Indiana-distilled whiskeys, reportedly ranging from about 7 to 18 years old.
  • Exceptionally complex finishing program: individual whiskey components were separately matured in 50+ Armagnac, Cognac, Rum, Tawny Port and Sherry casks, then blended together. Release IV is the first Cigar Batch to incorporate Sherry casks.
  • Four different mash bills are represented, ranging from a 36% rye bourbon to a 91% corn whiskey.
  • Flavor profile: dark cherry, fig, candied orange, caramel and vanilla leading into raisin, chocolate, cinnamon, clove, toasted almond, leather, tobacco and mature oak, with a long dried-fruit/cocoa/rye-spice finish.
