Rare Character does not divulge where their whiskey is distilled but this barrel is believed to originate from one of Kentucky's premier contract distilleries, with Bardstown Bourbon Company considered the leading candidate. Older Kentucky-distilled 95/5 ryes are relatively uncommon (this being one of the older ones), making this a unique opportunity to experience how this iconic mash bill develops outside of the MGP you see.
