Post Scriptum is a collaborative effort between the Symington family, renowned for their expertise in Port wine, and the Prats family, known for their Bordeaux winemaking heritage. This wine is crafted in the Douro Valley, a region celebrated for its dramatic landscapes and rich viticultural history. The blend typically includes Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, two of Portugal's most esteemed grape varieties. The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel vats to preserve the vibrant fruit character, followed by aging in French oak barrels, which imparts subtle spice and complexity. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, with well-integrated tannins and a refreshing acidity.
