A limited-release Kentucky rye from New Riff, built around malted rye, which gives the whiskey a softer, richer and more chocolate-and-malt-driven character than a traditional spicy rye. After its initial maturation in new charred oak, the whiskey receives a Sherry cask finish, layering dried fruit and nutty richness over the rye’s spice and malt character. Bottled at a robust 117.3 proof (58.65% ABV), it delivers notes of dark cherry, raisin, fig, toasted malt, cocoa, baking spice and oak, with the Sherry adding a deep, dessert-like dimension while the barrel proof keeps the finish powerful and warming.
