Gin Barrel-Aged Gose Style Ale with Dark Cherries 6% ABV
Inspired by the classic Negroni cocktail, our goal was to mimic those iconic flavors entirely through the integration of the barrel and the base beer, without the addition of outside spirits.
On the nose and front palate, you will immediately pick up the influence of the gin barrel: subtle botanical aromatics, followed by the dark cherries of the GCF base, bright citrus, woody sweetness, a hint of oak, and a pleasant, dry finish where the sea salt of the base beer gently fades into the background.
It’s a sophisticated, complex spin on a playful Millpond favorite.”
