Maybach Materium Red is a distinguished wine produced by Maybach Family Vineyards, a renowned winery known for its commitment to crafting exceptional wines. This vintage is primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the prestigious Napa Valley region, which is celebrated for its ideal climate and terroir for growing this varietal. The growing season is noted for its balanced structure, with a harmonious blend of ripe fruit flavors, vibrant acidity, and well-integrated tannins. The wine undergoes meticulous winemaking techniques, including fermentation in stainless steel and aging in French oak barrels, which impart subtle notes of vanilla and spice. The flavor profile is rich with dark fruit notes such as blackberry and plum, complemented by hints of chocolate and espresso. This wine pairs beautifully with hearty dishes like grilled steak or lamb, making it a perfect choice for special occasions.

Absolute pure perfection in wine, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium comes from the Weitz Vineyard in Oakville and is all varietal raised in mostly new barrels. It's deep, saturated purple hue is followed by a kaleidoscope-like array of black and blue fruits, chocolate, gravelly earth, and tobacco, and it picks up an undeniable sense of minerality with time in the glass. Full-bodied and incredibly concentrated, with a stacked mid-palate and building yet perfect tannins, this magical effort blends power and elegance flawlessly. It needs at least 4-5 years in the cellar, but this is a heavenly Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon I wish every reader could taste. It should blow your socks off for at least two decades
