Made from two parcels, the early-picked parcel made with 40% whole bunches. The second, riper parcel was fully destemmed. Matured in seasoned oak for 10 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep ruby red. Vibrant and focused on the nose with an array of red and blue fruits, violets and mountain herbs. Medium bodied and plush, this delicious and energetic wine is framed by silky, very persistent tannins and juicy acidity. A thoughtful and well-put-together wine.
