Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos is a classic example of an Amontillado Sherry from the renowned Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, Spain. This wine is crafted from Palomino grapes grown in the chalky soils of the Jerez region. It undergoes a unique aging process, starting under a layer of flor for several years before being exposed to oxygen, which imparts its characteristic nutty and complex flavors. The wine is aged in American oak barrels using the traditional solera system. It presents a deep amber color with aromas of hazelnuts, almonds, and a hint of caramel. On the palate, it is dry, with a rich, full-bodied texture and a long, elegant finish. The ABV is typically around 18.5%.
