Louis Jadot is a renowned Burgundy wine producer with a rich history dating back to 1859. The Beaune Clos des Ursules 1er Cru Monopole is a distinguished wine from their portfolio, crafted exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. This wine hails from the esteemed Beaune appellation in the Burgundy region of France. The winemaking process involves traditional fermentation techniques followed by aging in French oak barrels, which imparts a subtle complexity to the wine. The flavor profile is characterized by vibrant red fruit notes, balanced acidity, and a refined tannin structure, making it an excellent pairing with roasted meats, game, and earthy mushroom dishes.

Fabulous, fresh blackberry and black-cherry nose with some heady floral notes. Imposing tannin structure and concentration, but it is all wrapped in big black fruit. The crisp acidity of the vintage is very present here and makes this bright, but the firm and stony finish needs some time to completely harmonize. This will really blossom if you have a little patience. From organically grown grapes.
