La Dame de Malescot is the second wine of the renowned Chateau Malescot St. Exupery, located in the prestigious Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. This wine is crafted from a blend predominantly featuring Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with smaller portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The grapes are meticulously selected and vinified using traditional Bordeaux techniques, including fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and aging in French oak barrels, some of which are new, to enhance complexity and structure. The wine exhibits a rich bouquet of dark fruits such as blackcurrant and plum, complemented by notes of cedar, tobacco, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is well-balanced with a medium to full body, fine tannins, and a lingering finish. This wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, game, and mature cheeses.
