Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
This '815' California Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) was aged in 35% new American oak for up to 16 months. A snapshot of California from vintners Joel and Sarah Gott, the grapes are sourced from select sites in the Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Lake County, Mendocino, Lodi, and Central Coast appellations. The 2022 vintage is very ripe, with youthful blackberry, blueberry, and plum fruits complemented by sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, with plump tannins framing juicy, succulent red berry fruits and a hint of cola that emerges on the chalky mineral finish.
