Pepper Decanter Single Barrel 5 Year Bourbon (Barrel #20-454) was bottled uncut and unfiltered for us at 108.2 proof, we chose the distillery’s bold "RR" mash bill of 51% corn, 45% raw rye, and 4% malted rye. This recipe delivers a distinctly rye-forward profile but holds on to the distinctive Bourbon sweetness. It has aromas and flavors of black pepper, cinnamon, vanilla and herbal rye layered over sweet caramel corn and toasted oak. The finish is balanced nicely with some heat and sweetness
