The first release in Hard Truth and Mellencamp Whiskey Company's four-part collectible series, Harvest Rye introduced a previously unreleased 72% rye, 28% corn sweet-mash recipe made entirely from Indiana-grown grain. Bottled at a robust 106 proof from a tiny 30-barrel batch, it delivers layers of apple butter, ripe pear, caramel and toffee backed by cinnamon, ginger and assertive rye spice. Each bottle features original artwork by John Mellencamp, making this limited 2023 release as interesting for collectors as it is for rye drinkers.
