The wine’s aromatic constellation is very refined, wafting from the glass in a youthful blend of cherries, pomegranate, gamebird, a complex base of soil tones, raw cocoa, roses and a delicate framing of oak. On the palate the wine is pure, elegant and full-bodied, with outstanding transparency down to its soil, a lovely core of red fruit, tangy acids, fine-grained tannins and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced, dancing finish. The backend grip and lift here are very exciting! This is a beautiful bottle of pinot noir in the making.
