Cantina Girlan was founded in 1923 in a historic farm dating back to the 16th century. At that time, 24 winegrowers laid the foundation stone for our current business. Behind traditional walls and in the extensive cellar corridors, modern cellar technology and optimal storage conditions for our wines are hidden. Today, there are around 200 winegrowing families who cultivate around 230 hectares of wine-growing area in the best locations of the Überetsch and Unterland, with a lot of commitment and motivation. Cellar master Gerhard Kofler maintains close and personal contact with the winegrowers and advises them throughout the growing season. This exchange of experience is a very important basis for our striving for the highest quality.
