Fournier Cidre de Normandie

. Original price: . Final price: $19.99
The Fournier family began making cider in 1943. Located in South Normandy in the middle of Dukes of Alençon province, the landscape offers a mix between green valleys and the strong hills where and pear trees grow. The apples and pears used for their cides are grown in their own orchards, on shallow clay-limestone hillsides. The brut cider is produced from a blend of Normandy apples and pears that are selected for their delicate and fresh flavors, then slowly fermented. The cider offers a yellow and limpid color with a fruity and elegant floral nose. Quenching, sparkling on the palate, fine acidity and slight bitterness. Rich, round and structured.
