Chateau Siran is a renowned winery located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. Known for its rich history and commitment to quality, Chateau Siran produces wines that are a blend of classic Bordeaux varietals, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The Margaux region is celebrated for its gravelly soils and favorable climate, which contribute to the elegance and complexity of its wines. Chateau Siran employs traditional winemaking techniques, including fermentation in stainless steel and aging in French oak barrels, which enhance the wine's structure and depth. The growing season offers a vibrant flavor profile with notes of dark berries, cassis, and subtle hints of spice, supported by a balanced acidity and refined tannins. This wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, game, and mature cheeses.

Professional Scores

The 2019 Siran has a classically-styled, reassuringly precise and focused bouquet with plenty of mineralite and tension. The oak is seamlessly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine precision and balance, still a bit of oak to be soaked up here but it will with time. Wonderful focus and boasting greater persistence than its peers, this Margaux is firing on all cylinders.
