Brigaldara Case Vecie Amarone Della Valpolicella 2016 is a deep, dark, supple and meditative wine produced from 39% Corvina, 30% Corvinone and 31% Rondinella grapes sourced from the high-altitude Grezzana Case Vecie vineyard in the Veneto wine region. The wine is aged up to two years in smaller oak barriques with two years in larger oak barrels. Fragrant with cherry liqueur, dark spices, dried herbs and dried fig, raisin fruit, spicy on the palate with cinnamon and pepper spice with a long minerally finish. Tannins are pleasantly chewy.
