Booker’s “Southern Thunder” celebrates the man whose presence could fill a room—and whose voice could carry across the distillery. According to his son, Master Distiller Fred Noe, Booker’s deep, booming voice earned the affectionate description “Southern Thunder.” Behind that commanding sound was a generous spirit, a quick sense of humor and a compliment that meant something when you earned it.
Aged more than seven years and bottled at its full 127.3 proof, this third release of 2026 honors Booker’s legacy with the undiluted character that defines his namesake bourbon. It’s a fitting tribute to a man remembered as much for his personality as for the whiskey he helped shape.
