Beautiful minerality, and deep, complex aromas of chalk and stone mark this extremely refined Champagne. As with all of the Bérêche Champagnes there is no malolactic fermentation. Further, all of the cuvées, with exception of the Brut Reserve, receive their second fermentation under cork, rather than the standard steel crowncap. This is a labor-intensive approach with manual disgorgement, that Raphaël and Vincent feel is essential to preserving the character of each individual cuvée.

Originating from two west-facing sites and harvested on September 8, the 2022 Blanc de Blancs Les Beaux Regards bursts from the glass with aromas of citrus oil, pear and toasted bread mingled with nuances of dried flowers and iodine. Medium- to full-bodied, ample and rich but vibrant, it is built around a fleshy core of fruit enlivened by chalky extract, seamlessly uniting power and incisiveness despite the hot, dry conditions of the growing season, and it concludes with a long, saline finish. It was disgorged in January 2026 with a dosage of 2.5 grams per liter.
