80% Sangiovese, 18% Merlot, 2% Malvasia Nera; vineyards in San Casciano Val di Pesa; clay and limestone soils, mineral-rich with sandy sections; grapes hand harvested and sorted at cellar; fermented in stainless steel tanks at 77ºF; aged 15 months in barrels and barriques, 3 months in bottle.
