Planted in 1907 in the sandy loam soils on the east side of Lodi, these ancient Zinfandel vines are interspersed with Grenache, Carignane, and Mission as well. Quintessentially old vine Zinfandel aromas of ripe, sweet fruits alongside savory Rhone-like herbs seasoned with a hint of citrus peel. Refined and elegant on the palate with concentrated, lovely fruit and a deeply pleasing, round texture.
