A long-aged Barbados rum selected exclusively for The Wine and Cheese Place, distilled at the historic Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery in 2019 and matured through 2026. A 16-month Sauternes cask finish adds layers of honeyed fruit, apricot, peach and citrus to the rum’s mature notes of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and baking spice. At 44.7% ABV with a minimal 2 g/L dosage, it remains balanced and expressive, with the Sauternes providing richness without overwhelming the character of the nearly 7-year-old Barbados rum.
