Late February–March rains restored soil water reserves without disrupting vegetative growth. A warm, sunny April brought early, uniform budbreak, briefly slowed by cooler, wetter weather without frost. Ideal conditions in May and June supported flowering and fruit set. July was warm and well ventilated, with veraison occurring about a week early. August heat was moderated by a mid-month weather front, while cool nights and wide temperature shifts ensured balanced phenolic and technical ripeness
