Nekeas' old vines have delivered again! Beautiful herbal notes dominate with lavender and wildflowers, alongside rosemary and thyme. The palate is layered, fruity and spicy, offering a certain plushness while at the same time driven by direct punchy acidity and it finishes with sappy, savoury tannins. It is certainly one of the best vintages I have tasted; a wine that offers a lot of pleasure now but promises much more to come. A fabulous pure expression of Navarra's old vines.
