Longmorn has quietly provided a sweet and deeply fruity component to a multiplicity of blends since its founding. Its ferments are long, the distillation takes place in eight thick-necked stills, giving a make which is weighty enough to age well in both ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon. The distillery has been a long-time component of Chivas Regal. This expression from Adelphi is replete with orchard fruits on the nose and palate. Green apple and ripe pear coat the palate with lovely texture and richness. The finish lingers with spices and even more fruit . Fantastic malt!!
