Previously known as Monymusk and like many rum distilleries existed as both a distillery and a sugar mill before splitting into separate entities. The modern Clarendon is basically 2 distilleries with shared infrastructure. Jamaican second largest distillery, Clarendon operates between Jan & Oct each year, making 15 million LAA (liters of absolute alcohol).
Nose: cola cubed, pineapple, cigar humidor
Palate: cherry, bread and butter pudding, heather honey
Finish: Nettle tea, beefsteak tomato, orange peel
