A powerful, limited-release 11 Year Old Ben Nevis from independent bottler Murray McDavid, distilled in 2014 and bottled at a robust 58.1% ABV. Initially matured in an American oak hogshead, it spent an unusually long three-year finish in a PX Sherry barrique from Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola of Jerez, adding rich layers of hazelnut, caramel, baked apple, praline, chocolate and baking spice to Ben Nevis's characterful Highland malt. Only 303 bottles produced, bottled at natural color and without chill filtration.
