Grandauer Festbier is a traditional Bavarian festival lager first brewed in 1965 to celebrate the Grandauer brewery’s 350th anniversary. It proved so popular that it became the traditional beer of the annual Grandauer Volksfest. Rich yet highly drinkable, it offers flavors of toasted bread, honey, caramel and sweet malt, balanced by gentle herbal hop bitterness. At 5.6% ABV, it’s a wonderfully authentic German Festbier with the smooth, malty character made for drinking by the Maß during festival season
