Gouden Carolus Imperial Dark

Also part of the Cuvée van de Keizer (“Emperor”) series, this is a very rich Belgian strong dark ale with an ABV around 11%. It has a deep ruby-brown color and a warm, full mouthfeel, designed to age well and develop complexity over time. On the nose and palate, you’ll find roasted malt, caramel, plums, and dark fruits, with a soft fruitiness layered over warming malt.
