Originally established in Paris, Kentucky in 1856, Chicken Cock was forced to move production up to Canada during Prohibition. The Canadian Rye whiskey produced during that period was then smuggled back into the U.S. in tin cans, earning the brand the nickname, “The whiskey in a tin can.”

Our Estate Collection represents a true grain-to-glass production, where every aspect from growing the wheat to bottling the final product takes place in Mississippi. The first release from this collection, this 100% wheat whiskey was pot distilled and aged for 7 years in new #3 charred oak barrels. The final product is a carefully selected blend of the finest barrels out of a fourteen-barrel lot, bottled at a robust 100 proof.
