80 proof
Jeffers Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a smooth, easy-drinking bourbon that sits firmly in the value tier, bottled at 80 proof with a mellow, approachable profile. It opens with soft notes of caramel, vanilla bean, light honey, and orchard fruit, followed by gentle oak and sweet grain on the palate, keeping the overall character light and uncomplicated. The finish is short to medium with hints of toasted sugar and mild spice, making it a versatile everyday pour or cocktail base.
There have long been industry rumors that Jeffers Creek is sourced from Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky—the same producer behind the 1792 lineup and Very Old Barton. While never officially confirmed on label, enthusiasts point to similarities in profile, production scale, and sourcing patterns common to Barton’s bulk whiskey output under the Sazerac umbrella.
Four Roses Single Barrel OESF is a refined, recipe-driven Kentucky bourbon that shows how much character comes from mashbill and yeast selection. Built on the softer “E” mashbill with the floral “F” yeast strain, this barrel proof expression leans elegant and layered rather than bold and spicy, delivering a balanced profile of caramel, vanilla oak, dried herbs, and gentle orchard fruit at 100 proof.
OESF Breakdown:
The result is a smooth, structured bourbon with restrained spice, soft sweetness, and a long, polished oak finish that highlights barrel nuance over intensity.

Layers of mature bourbon combine to create a deep, complex woodiness; like strolling through a forest, passing a beehive, and brushing your hands through an herb garden. The palate is dark, brooding, and earthy, with fine tannins that linger long into the finish, allowing the flavors to slowly unfold. A splash of water reveals a sweeter side, lifting notes of confetti cake, lemon jelly, and mango.
The Sazerac de Forge & Fils “Finest Original” Cognac blend includes cognacs made from a number of old and rare native grape varieties. This gives us the unique opportunity to enjoy cognac as it was 150 years ago, prior to the Phylloxera epidemic that forever changed the cognac-making process. Blended with cognacs that have aged between seven and fifty years, our cognac is complex, full of character and inevitably produced in very small quantities. It will be a challenge to find around the world, but well worth the search.

As the 25th release in the limited Orphan Barrel series, it highlights the elegance and complexity that extended Canadian whisky maturation can achieve.
