Selected as a TWCP Rare Single Barrel, Barrel #2558-1 was uniquely finished in French Cherrywood from Jura, France, imparting nuanced layers of dark cherry, baking spice, toasted oak, and subtle floral complexity. Bottled at 112 proof, the elevated proof preserves the whiskey’s full texture and concentration while allowing the exotic wood influence to shine through. Most notably, this marks the first Cherrywood-finished Penelope X bourbon ever released in the state of Missouri, making it a one-of-a-kind expression that may never be replicated.
