The Polish Hill River Riesling comes from a single block in the Polish Hill sub-region of the Clare Valley. John Hughes thinks this vineyard produces the best fruit of all his vineyard sources.Has some generous fruit with strident mineral notes, as well as pure lime. There’s flesh and weight to the palate. Quite fleshy and concentrated with zesty acidity. So drinkable now and will age well. Screw cap.

This 2021 No. 2 Polish Hill River Riesling is bright and punctuated by intense acidity, which is near-on invisible due to the voluminous fruit. All things are in place here—it is squeaky clean in the best, most pristine way, with rivulets of enduring flavor through the finish. Awesome.
