Today we want to highlight our return to Saturday Wine Tastings (plus a special new 40th Anniversary Beer from our friends at Perennial). It has been a long, strange trip over these last couple of years and we feel that we are finally in a good spot to return to our Saturday tastings. Our goal going forward with these tastings is to really engage with our wine customers and highlight wines that we think are very special. Please be patient with us and your fellow shoppers as we re-enter the world of wine samples. Tasting Today High Scoring Wines Under $20 (1pm-3pm) 2019 David Finlayson Cabernet Sauvignon South Africa 2019 Vina Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles 2020 Guarda Rios Red Blend Portugal 2020 Novellum Chardonnay France plus Perennial DDH Hurry on Day Light We also want to highlight a fantastic wine that we will not be sampling on this cold dreary day but will be perfect for Sunday’s return to Spring. The 2020 Jean Perrier Apremont Cuvee Gastronomie, made from the Jacquere grape, this lovely wine is bursting with energy and a bright fresh fruit flavor profile. A perfect wine to enjoy on the patio with some cheese and crackers. We all loved this wine, so we grabbed the last 7 cases our distributor had on hand. |
