A fine, good value, way in to Cebreros from the man who kicked it all off, Telmo Rodríguez, with partner racing driver Carlos Sainz. It's a light and delicate organic Garnacha, pure, with intense freshness, and a silky palate. Carries its time in large oak very lightly. A great start. If you can find the top of the range, limited production Arrebatacapas, then snap it up, for its extra gravitas.

The 2018 Pegaso Zeta feels complete, with good complexity and nuance, showing the varietal character and the texture provided by the granite soils. There is terrific balance and good depth, and it's layered and precise. A wine that really delivers for the price. 16,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2019.
