Bouzeron is one of the five appellations in the Cote de Chalonnaise and the closest one to the Côte-d’Or (Bouzeron is a close neighbor of Rully and Chassagne-Montrachet). It was officially recognized in 1997 as a full-fledged Burgundian appellation village. The only appellation where the grape Aligote is the star. Bouzeron only produces white wines and the only grape is Aligote. Aligoté grape is a cross of Pinot Noir and Gouais, that no longer exists today.
Aromas of fresh peaches, white flowers, and green apples. On the palate, it is well balanced and creamy. The wine is very pure with great focus and nice streak of acidity running through it. Great crisp White Burgundy!
