Full-bodied, concentrated, and beautifully textured, with a blockbuster-styled, salty finish, this reminds me of a great Hermitage Blanc from the likes of Michel Chapoutier. It too should easily evolve for a decade, although I love it today.

Rated 98/100 Jeb Dunnuck

The 2022 Marsanne opens with a lemon oil freshness as a mix of Mediterranean herbs, green melon and freshly crushed peaches evolves in the glass. This displays elegant textures, rich yet energetic, with a stimulating core of sour citrus and mineral tones adding lovely depth as nectarine and exotic spice swirl throughout. The 2022 cleans up beautifully through its long and potent finish, leaving a gentle tannic tension and saline resonance that keeps me looking back to the glass for more. The balance here is otherworldly.
